| | The children of St. Stephen’s are actively involved in their formation
as Christians. It is our goal to help them develop a relationship with God and to help them understand that relationship,
its obligations, and its joys. If
you would like to help in the Christian Formation of the children of the church, please contact Fr Scott. Training in early education is helpful but not necessary.

| | Sunday Nursery 9:00–11:45 a.m., Sundays | | |
| | Nursery care for children up to age 3 is provided each Sunday. The Nursery is in the top
floor of the Education Wing and faces the small parking lot. At least two caregivers are available at all times so that parents
can enjoy adult Sunday School, the Eucharist service, and light refreshments afterwards. (Children are welcome
to join in the refreshments!)

| | Children’s Chapel 10:30–11:00 a.m., Sundays, September-May, Lassen Lounge | | |
| | Instruction in Christian formation is provided for children 3 and older every Sunday in Children’s
Chapel. It occurs during the 10:30 a.m. service and follows the regular church schedule. Children enter Chapel
service in the lounge while their parents enter the church, and join their parents later after the Peace has been exchanged
during the church worship service.
Registration
forms are available in the church narthex and online. Please complete a form for each child who will be attending Children’s Chapel and bring it with you on your child’s
first Chapel Sunday. | |

| | Vacation Bible School The First Week of August, Parish Hall | | |
| | Bible School is held one week each August for children aged 3 to rising sixth graders.
Every year we focus on a different spiritual exploration; this year the classes explored the Nazareth of Jesus’ childhood.
In 2010, VBS students discovered Egypt from the time of the Patriarch Joseph and the emigration of the Hebrews to the land
of the Nile. The year before, they visited ancient Rome and interviewed Paul in his prison cell.
